Russell Burt spent 40 years in various business management, business development, and executive positions.From Marketing Manager for a national plumbing specialty company, starting their Canadian division, then managing their largest division. After managing market development for a national food service equipment company, Russell, with partners. purchased and became CEO of a food service equipment manufacturing company.
He became an advocate for small business, offering heath plans to the small business market. Then as an independent representative of Aflac for 28 years, he was repeatedly a nationally recognized top Agent and Sales Coordinator.
He has served on both the NJ Chamber of Commerce and NJ Business & Industry Association Health Affairs and Educational Affairs Advisory Committees for 12 years. He was First VP of East Orange Chamber of Commerce for 18 years and was the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business person of the Year in 2004.
Russell has consulted more than 120 businesses during his career, helping develop business plans and strategies, mostly focusing on Sales and Marketing, including ventures in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Born and raised in Camden, NJ, Larry has been part of the Runnemede business community since 1997 and becoming a resident of the town in 2010. Working first as an design apprentice at the local printing company, he sent himself back to school, to learn business strategies and marketing techniques, while being a single parent. By 2003 he opened his first business a web design firm Artland Technologies which was able to finance the buy out of Colour Printing 2007.
Following Covid, Larry purchased an existing pool company, rebranding it Legacy Pools and Patios and is in the process of moving the company to Runnemede.
Being in the printing industry has led him to send countless hours with business owners, watching as they succeed and fail. Tiring of so many local businesses closing he joined the Chamber to help get a better understanding of what can be done from the inside and outside.
Cathleen Martin serves as the Runnemede Chamber of Commerce Secretary, bringing over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant. Her extensive career in the dental field, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by small businesses against corporate giants, fueled her passion for business management. This drive led her to pursue a degree in business at Rowan University, where she is set to graduate in Spring 2025. Since joining the Chamber, Cathleen has leveraged the Runnemede Chamber’s social media presence to champion the “shop local” movement, helping local businesses enhance their market visibility and thrive in a competitive landscape.
Heather Jones is the dedicated owner of Mr. Appliance, a trusted appliance repair service with locations in Runnemede and South Philadelphia. With over 28 years of residency in Gloucester Township, Heather is deeply rooted in her community. As a member of the Runnemede Chamber of Commerce, she is passionate about supporting local business owners and community members.
Heather is also a proud wife to Dave and a loving mother to Alaina and David. Her commitment to her family and community is reflected in her business values and community involvement.
